Labiaplasty Revision
It is commonly referred as Labiaplasty. It is a procedure performed on Labia lip for resizing or reshaping them. There is no perfect labia listed in any books till date, and now with ready information available on the social media there is unusual demand for designer labia .It is very important for the patient to have right expectation regarding the reshaping of labia .
There are few conditions in which labiaplasty is helpful- large labia interfering with sexual activity,sports activity, unable to wear tight sports outfits, post-delivery correction of torn labia, to maintain labial hygiene.Energy based tightening of labia is non-surgical treatment for firming the loosened labia.
Surgical Labiaplasty is procedure done under anaesthesia in which excess labia is trimmed and few absorbable sutures are placed on corrected labia which heals on its own. There is some after care necessary till the suture line heals.
